This event is cancelled as a preventive measure to reduce risk related to the COVID-19 virus. Visit the university’s COVID-19 website for the most current information for the USD community. 

To commemorate the women’s suffrage centennial, the Humanities Center offers two panel events considering the nature of the passage of the 19th Amendment. Dr. Hasselbach moderates faculty specialists from various departments on the aspects of this landmark legislation including black women and the suffrage movement, women and labor, the legislative process, women and power, and the legacy of women’s democracy.
